These are photos I took of a display called “Empire Plastics” on loan from the Willis Collection. There is a delightful written description in the first photo, be sure to read it. Go see them if you get a chance, they are in the window of what used to be Caprial’s Restaurant at 7015 SE Milwaukie Ave. next to Stars Antiques. I found out from Chris Willis that the timers come on around 4:50 and stay on till midnight and that he highly recommends seeing them lit up - it’s how they’re meant to be viewed. I bet! I also heard that there is a display of Santas on SE 32nd between Tolman and Claybourne.
